MX87 has a little better low temp bite (which the MX72 PLUS also have compared to the stock pads) but is less temperature resistent compared to MX72 PLUS. Thats why I wanted the MX72 PLUS. Because brake temp goes very high when I brake from over 300 kph to like 100 or so. If you don't live in Germany, you don't have that problem, then MX87 will be totally fine.

Einer im aerodynamisch schlechteren 1er hat mit ähnlicher Leistung GPS 316 km/h geschafft. Realistisch wohl um die 320 km/h. Ob ich das jemals wirklich voll ausfahren will und vor allem kann, wird sich zeigen. 100-200 muss ich mal messen, hab ja ne PerformanceBox die ich irgendwie noch nie wirklich genutzt habe. So ein Dragy ist halt auch mittlerweile eine ganze Ecke komfortabler wenn du das Handy einfach via externer GPS-Box mit gleicher Präzision messen lassen kannst vs. der alten PerformanceBox die Strom vom Zigarettenanzünder braucht und die du mit Saugnäpfen an die Frontscheibe bappen must wo danach dann wieder die Schmierflecken über bleiben. 😂 Glaub ich stell die Box mal in Kleinanzeigen und bestell mir den Dragy GPS Empfänger. 🤪 Kann aber auch GPS-Werte übers Motorsteuergerät mitloggen, ebenfalls sehr komfortabel. Letztens erst gemacht als ich Abends mal mehrere Pulls bis 280 / 290 km/h gemacht hab um Zündwinkelkorrekturen, Ladedruck etc. zu checken.

Ergänzung: Dragy bestellt. Die Tage gibt's also genaue Messungen. Steigung oder Gefälle rechne ich dann noch sauber raus. Das Teil hat sogar 25 Hz Abtastrate, meine PerformanceBox hat "nur" 10 Hz, also 10x Signalrefresh pro Sekunde. Das war vor 10 Jahren ein Highlight. 😅

There is even a 8th gear. 😅I changed the shift points some days ago after the final remap. So 1st to 2nd is at 6900 rpm, 2nd to 3rd is at 6600 rpm, 3rd to 4th is at 6400 rpm, 4th to 5th is at 6300 rpm, 5th to 6th is at 6200 rpm, 6th to 7th is at 6100 rpm and 7th to 8th is at 6000 rpm. But the last one I will never get. 😂 It just don't make any sense to rev the engine till 7000 rpm when most of the power is between 5000 to 6000 rpm. I did not have the oportunity to see what the topspeed is since the 300 kph imiter has been removed. Hopefully I get the chance soon. Don't want to do this at 38 degrees in summer. 😅

Hello, the reason is that the Vectra B 2.2 DTI has some additional limiters which you have to find and to change. I had several Vectra B 2.2 DTI, they are all using more than 60 mg/stroke. The same for Opel Frontera B 2.2 DTI, they also have some 60 mg/stroke limiters that the Omega B does not have.

Das Gehäuse der Kurbelwellenentlüftung besteht aus einem leeren Raum für den Vliesfilter und es beinhaltet ein Druckventil mit einer Membran. Diese geht irgendwann kaputt und dann funktioniert das Ventil nicht mehr. Daher macht es Sinn das komplette Gehäuse aller spätestens 100 tkm zu erneuern. Einfach mal nach "kge e39 530d" in Google suchen und dann findet man in der Bildersuche auch Fotos von der roten Membran die im Gehäuse steckt und durch das runde Loch schaut.

Yes, this is what belongs in the BMW M57 engines. Opel produced the Omega B 2.5 DTI the first four months from June 2021 to Septemper 2021 with the orange one (silicate free) and then BMW stepped in and told them to use the blue/green one (with silicate) because that's what the engine is developed for. So from Oktober 2021 till the end in June 2003 Opel filled in the blue/green one. BMW also used the blue/green one (Glysantin G48) in their E38/E39/E46 25d and 30d M57 cars.

It is very slow acceleration to show how the GM automatic is shifting. Not full throttle. I have older videos with stock power and full acceleration.

Ja die Leute wundern sich heute noch wenn ihre Kiste bei 250 km/h abregelt und ich langsam vorbei fahre, langem Diff sei Dank. Auf dem Video hier war es noch das Serien-Diff, da war bei GPS ~ 235 bis 238 km/h Ende.

Ja, ich habe den 2,5 Liter M57 2016 gegen den 3 Liter M57 getauscht.
